We are...who believe that `IT TAKES A CHILD TO RAISE A VILLAGE`. This contrary thinking to the well-known proverb-"It takes a village to raise a child" is due to faith in our children who are active changemakers & can help us grow up to be more kind, mindful & conscious as a society.
Children feel much strongly about their environment-they question, they challenge due to their inborn sense of justice & fairness. Their forthrightness makes them natural changemakers.
Talking about children as natural agents for change, WE have been working with them for more than seven years to bring CONSCIOUSNESS into the young minds. Conscious activities that we have been developing here aren't anything which have to be examined and analysed very deeply. The curriculum encapsulates those simple acts commonly practiced across times in various traditions.
This is a bit different from the conventional educational organisation where the academic curriculum overpowers the equally important CONSCIOUS CURRICULUM (a must-be for each age group & class room)- in which learning involves courage, compassion, character, critical thinking & community collaboration! WE WORK WITH THE YOUNG MINDS TO MAKE THEM MORE MINDFUL-SOCIALLY, CULTURALLY & ENVIRONMENTALLY
We believe in building character & belief systems of our children and youth because ‘character is who we are and what we do even when no one is watching’.
Through our programmes, we endeavour to imbibe values which have to be practiced regularly for sustainable development for this planet. We are simultaneously striving to bring that ‘change’, where children proudly can carry their cultural background with courage and practice the concept of sustainable living comfortably/naturally.
Mugdha Arora, a lawyer by training, artist at heart and yogi by soul. She has almost 2 decades of experience working in the legal field in India and Canada.
She founded Mugdha's Initiative with a bunch of children to inculcate social responsibility among the younger masses through theatre and lingual training. She also manages an Immigration Law Firm (Visa Law) with offices in India and UAE.
